Meet Pauline Oketch, a widow leader in Aboke, Ugenya—a dedicated storyteller and human rights defender. She is leading sensitization campaigns on the Siaya Widows Protection Bill 2024 across Ugenya, ensuring widows understand its benefits.
These forums serve as crucial platforms to educate, empower, and mobilize widows, equipping them with the knowledge to advocate for the Bill’s enactment and push for the establishment of its implementation frameworks through their local elected MCAs.
